Public Coast Farm is a 40-acre culinary farm nestled at the base of Oregon’s Coastal Range on iconic Sunset Highway 26, just 30 minutes from Portland. Lush with 10 acres of blueberries, fruit orchards, beehives, and hops, the farm is a culinary playground for the chefs and brewers at our sister hotel and brewery, the Stephanie Inn and Public Coast Brewing in Cannon Beach. You can also find our goods at select specialty markets like Zupan’s in Portland.
From our 5,000 square foot solar-powered greenhouse to custom bee boxes for honey production with Jacobsen Salt Co., Public Coast Farm celebrates alchemy: the transformation of simple, beautiful, locally produced ingredients into culinary magic.
Public Coast Farm lies along Dairy Creek, just adjacent to the popular Banks Vernonia Scenic Bikeway--a mecca for bicyclists and nature fans. Just a short jaunt off the Bikeway, the farm is a great stop for gathering provisions and wandering the orchards. Eventually, the monumental Salmonberry Trail, a rail to trail project which will connect Portland to the Pacific, will run right through the heart of the Farm, along the Tillamook Railroad’s now abandoned but soon- to-be converted tracks.
